HI I'm Ben Schaal

For as long as I can remember I have always had some form of creative outlet. At present I have a music production hobby and my efforts in graphic design.

The teardrop shapes in my logo are not mere decoration, they spell out my first name "Ben" in international Morse code.

When starting a project I take time to sketch and discuss potential designs/design decisions

After accumulating some design ideas I move to digital sketching processes where I roughly render what I was envisioning from the sketches

The small stuff

Character animation loop

Made for my illustration class using adobe after effects and illustrator. I also made a short piece of music for this.

Made for my basic motion graphics class with a focus on capturing a CRT television filter. Made with adobe after effects.
